We are seeking a highly skilled Credit and Collections Specialist to join our team at Electronic Arts Inc. as an Entry Level Financial Analyst. Key Responsibilities:- Review customer balances daily for assigned portfolio and prioritize collection activity to achieve timely payment.
- Assess credit risk and determine customer credit limits and payment terms based on creditworthiness.
- Communicate effectively with customers to resolve payment and collection issues.
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable, Customer Service, and Sales teams to address customer issues and manage relationships.
- Make recommendations to Credit Manager/Team Lead on problem accounts.
- Monitor and release customer orders blocked for credit review.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to payments made by credit card and checks.
- Represent the company in a professional and customer-focused manner.
- Handle confidential records discreetly.
- High School graduate or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
- Demonstrated English proficiency, at least B2 verbal and written.
- Experience processing credit card payments and investigating credit card payment errors.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial field, preferably credit and collections.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel).
- Creativity, negotiation/mediation skills are essential.
- Excellent follow-up and organization skills, detail-oriented, and ability to produce accurate work.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team success.
- Willingness to receive and provide feedback.
- Productivity/Ongoing improvement mindset.
