Sales Business Development Lead

We are seeking a talented Sales Business Development Lead to join our team at Element Fleet Management.

As a Sales Business Development Lead, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with current customers while generating new leads through prospecting potential customers within risk acceptance criteria to meet origination, revenue, and service goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with prospects, understanding their needs and developing proposals that showcase Element's value-added services.
  • Coordinate the end-to-end sales process to onboard new customers, including risk underwriting, customer visits, contract negotiation, and implementation.
  • Manage the overall relationship with assigned clients, serving as the primary point of contact and coordinating internal areas to meet day-to-day or new requirements.
  • Present new products and services to existing clients to enhance profitability and grow business relationships.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans, including coordinating with strategic consulting projects and business reviews.

Requirements:

  • Desirable 5+ years of relevant business experience; post-secondary education preferred (BA/BS, MBA).
  • Proficient in English language (written and oral); experience within vehicle management or related financial/asset-based industry preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of time dependent on client portfolio and location.
  • Strong communication skills, influencing and relationship-building skills, world-class negotiation skills, and a proven track record of success.
  • Able to manage volume and service opportunities, effectively close transactions, and work with high urgency while accepting responsibility and accountability for account retention and growth.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
