Your Role:

As the Plant Quality Leader, you will cultivate a quality-centric culture throughout the entire operation, ensuring that our products consistently meet or surpass customer and consumer expectations. You will spearhead ongoing enhancements in product quality through a robust quality management system, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a quality-driven environment within the plant by overseeing Quality Control, Laboratory, and Compliance departments.
  • Build a diverse and high-performing team capable of driving growth while maintaining compliance.
  • Provide strategic direction and vision for quality improvement milestones.
  • Identify critical leverage points to enhance quality outcomes.
  • Establish credibility with management to improve product design and supply quality.
  • Ensure quality assurance and control at various manufacturing stages, from raw material intake to distribution, to deliver products that meet our high standards. Responsibilities include managing non-conformities, monitoring microbiological control programs, conducting root cause analysis, and overseeing key performance indicators.
  • Lead the implementation and management of the Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with corporate policies and local regulations, ensuring the quality of both raw materials and finished products.
  • Continuously assess quality systems to maintain the integrity of our QMS and report findings to senior management. Act as the primary liaison for third-party and regulatory inspections and audits.
  • Oversee documentation management of company policies, procedures, and standards, ensuring the preservation of essential records.
  • Manage and guide the Change Control process within operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through collaboration with operational teams, applying best practices in problem analysis.
  • Oversee Supplier Quality Management and evaluation programs.
  • Manage calibration programs and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality Department, preferably within Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • A minimum of 2 years in Supplier Quality Management.
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related field (Industrial, Chemical, Packaging, etc.).
  • Intermediate proficiency in English for written and verbal communication.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office applications, including Excel and Power BI.
  • In-depth knowledge of quality data management systems and statistical process control.
  • Experience with digital QMS systems.
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance, particularly ISO 9000 standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred.
  • Excellent collaboration and partnership skills.
  • Ability to adapt and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven leadership and influencing capabilities.
