Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the overall upkeep of our properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing repairs, fixture installation, and equipment maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failures
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our facilities and equipment to provide expert support
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in a related field preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field; experience in a hotel or hospitality environment a plus
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds; ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems; willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
