The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
This role involves direct, on-site interaction with clients to ensure exceptional service delivery, address issues, and identify opportunities for expanding business. As a Key Account Manager - On Field, you will be responsible for managing and growing key client relationships within the logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and collaborate with clients to understand their logistics needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Service Delivery and Optimization: Ensure the delivery of high-quality logistics services that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Market and Competitor Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities and provide insights and feedback to internal teams to support strategic decision-making.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular reports on account performance, including sales, service levels, and client feedback. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, agreements, and service issues.
- Problem Solving: Resolve client issues and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Fluent English: Must have excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree: In business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
- Skills: Proven ability to manage key accounts and drive business growth, strong interpersonal and communication skills, excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities, ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
