Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our Trinseo Plastics Solutions team in Mexico/LATAM. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing regional sales strategies for Automotive and Industrial compounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement medium and long-term sales strategies and short-term sales tactics for Trinseo Plastic Solutions sales in Mexico/LATAM.
  • Meet annual volume and margin targets.
  • Develop new business in alignment with Trinseo business strategy.
  • Enable best practices sharing with other Account Managers in Mexico/LATAM and between global regions.
  • Support the sales team in major contract negotiations with key accounts.
  • Establish and manage key customer relationships in Mexico/LATAM.
Requirements
  • University degree in business, engineering, chemistry, or process technology.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales, marketing, or product management roles in a B2B environment, with 3+ years in the Automotive/Plastics/Chemical/Process industry.
  • Proven record of successfully conducting significant business ($50MM+).
  • Good business acumen and financial skills.
  • Excellent people management and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of the Automotive segment and compounding market in Automotive and Industrial.
  • Ability to balance long-term value add with short-term volume, margin, and WC goals.
  • Ability to work in a volatile, fast-changing business environment.
  • Common sense, responsibility, and accountability.
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to manage decision-makers at various organizational levels in a multicultural environment.
  • Fluency in English and preferably one other major European language.
