**Business Development Role:** We are currently seeking a skilled Sales Manager to join our team in Mexico City. This person will build up, develop, and manage the business growth of Power & Energy in the assigned region (All North LAM sub-region).

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Map target electric power segments and potential accounts in all NLAM countries, understanding their potential through direct customer visits, website information, and networking.
  • Understand sector regulations and actively participate in group discussions and forums.
  • Detect and develop business opportunities across main related accounts in generation, transmission, and distribution companies, as well as industry customers.
  • Sell Vaisala's Power & Energy portfolio to end-users, OEMs, contractors, EPCs, etc.
  • Work closely with partners to develop relationships and networks at different levels of potential and target customers.
  • Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and technical support teams to attend trade shows, seminars, and deliver technical presentations/webinars.
  • Develop and execute a growth plan in the assigned region.
  • Create sales proposals and quotations.
  • Track activities in Salesforce CRM and ensure continuous updating.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technical, or relevant discipline.
  • Years of related technical and/or inside & outside sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English.
  • Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Proactive and team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time to support customers, trade shows, events, and customer visits.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Customer focus with ability to communicate service features and benefits.
  • Knowledge of core processes (marketing, sales, delivery, product, after sales).
  • Reliable, acts with a sense of urgency, works in a collaborative team environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct analytics and solve problems.
  • Able to lead-self through time management, organization, and prioritizing tasks.
  • Acts with integrity, aligned with Vaisala values.
  • Experience in MS Office.
