About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Business Navigation Officer (BNO) at Ikano-Retail. As a BNO, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and profitability, while ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the store's business planning process, working closely with the management team to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the company's objectives.
  • Drive financial business planning, ensuring that financial dimensions are aligned with store challenges and priorities, and involving stakeholders in goal-setting.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and promote business case thinking to evaluate and act on these opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze the store's Profit & Loss statement, identifying areas for improvement and implementing actions to reduce costs and optimize performance.
  • Develop and implement best practices to optimize store results and performance, using close-the-gap analysis and benchmarking KPIs.
  • Provide relevant business information, promoting standardized reporting and ensuring competence in the organization to analyze and understand performance.
  • Secure that all investments are made with proper analysis and business ROI consideration.
  • Lead and develop leaders and teams in the areas of responsibility, identifying and developing talents and ensuring succession planning.
  • Provide a safe, secure, and compliant environment for customers, suppliers, and coworkers, ensuring implementation of relevant rules and guidelines.
  • Secure purchasing in the store is made according to the principles defined in the Procurement Policy and IWAY (if applicable).
  • Manage property and maintenance, ensuring the store is in shape as new, and minimizing environmental impact.
  • Actively promote the IKEA social and environmental commitment, working with the team and store colleagues to contribute to sustainability.
  • Educate and empower coworkers and external service providers on aspects of the Ikano Code of Conduct, Anti-corruption & Bribery Policy, operational procedures, and local legislation.
  • Act as a responsible partner, committed to creating a positive impact on people and planet, taking relevant actions to contribute to long-term sustainability objectives.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Internal control demands.
  • Administrative risks analysis.
  • Retail processes, working methods, and tools.
  • Business administration.
  • Staff cost and scheduling management.
  • Financial Statement analysis and review.
  • Local laws in relation to finance, safety, security, and risk.
  • Procurement.
