Cash Collections Analyst Role

In our credit and collections team, you'll develop negotiation skills that are unparalleled in the financial industry.

We're the organization that interacts with the most teams within HP, ensuring a wide network and exposure opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer receivables account delinquency and determine the most effective communication method to facilitate payment.
  • Resolve disputes related to customer payment on delinquent accounts and negotiate payment from the customer.
  • Recognize trends for non-payment and resolve issues by engaging internal partners.
  • Utilize a strategic approach in collections activity, influencing customer payment behavior through developing key customer and partner relationships, resourcing effectively, and driving solutions.
  • Reduce the time spent on accounts through increased portfolio effectiveness.
  • Minimize Write Offs and Bad Debts through early identification of risk receivables.
  • Exhibit leadership capabilities through performing by example.

Education and Experience:

  • A first-level university degree with a focus in business or economics is recommended or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 2-4 years of experience in collection.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Intermediate written and verbal communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Intermediate accounting knowledge.
  • Intermediate problem-solving skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Intermediate prioritization skills.
  • Basic understanding of risk mitigation tools.
  • Intermediate understanding of HP's order management process.
  • Intermediate understanding of HP's dispute management process.
  • Intermediate understanding of collection processes and financial concepts.
  • Intermediate influence skills.
  • Data analysis: Power Bi & advanced excel.
  • Nice to have: Programming (PowerQuery and Python).
