About the Role

The Cash Collections Team at SAP is responsible for managing the collection of unpaid invoices. As a Cash Collections Specialist, you will play a crucial role in reducing the days it takes to collect an invoice, thus improving the company's cash flow. You will work closely with various areas within the organization, such as Sales, Marketing, Payment to Suppliers, Accounting, and others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and follow up on invoices receivable, both due and overdue
  • Proactively call customers to ensure timely payment
  • Creation and distribution of extrajudicial collection letters within the pre-established term
  • Investigation, analysis, and resolution of discrepancies of pending invoices
  • Close work with internal and external clients
  • Management of a portfolio of fixed clients
  • Escalation of cases where management is blocked to ensure the fluidity of the process
  • Account statement reports to be sent to clients
  • Monitoring of standard processes and use of corporate tools
  • Respond to customer inquiries and questions about billing issued
  • Problem solving with clients
  • Other tasks relevant to the resolution of problematic situations that generate cash flow

Experience and Requirements

  • Be within the framework of the SAP Young Professional/Early Career Talent program (Less than 2 years of Professional experience & less than 2 years from Graduation Date)
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable and/or related administration and finance areas
  • Fluent written and oral English
  • Any other language knowledge is a plus
