About the RoleAs a Cybersecurity Specialist at Revolut, you will play a critical role in protecting the company's systems, data, and users from cyber threats. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement effective security measures to prevent, detect, and respond to potential security incidents.
You will work closely with the Technology team to identify and mitigate security risks, develop and deploy security automations, and collaborate with other departments to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of the business.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement security automations and rules/detections to prevent and detect security threats
- Independently triage, investigate, escalate, and close security cases in a timely and efficient manner
- Assess and monitor infrastructure and remediate capability gaps to ensure the security and integrity of Revolut's systems
- Operate and configure security tools and platforms on workstations and cloud service providers to ensure seamless integration and functionality
- Report on detection and response processes and metrics to inform security strategy and decision-making
- Collaborate with other departments to develop forward-thinking security processes and procedures
- 3+ years of experience in information security or a related field
- Experience building security workflow automations in Python or a similar programming language
- Fundamental knowledge of modern operating systems, file systems, networking, and information security principles
- Expertise in security analysis tools and techniques, including Elastic/Kibana and Jupyter notebooks
- Experience with cloud, CI/CD, and containerized environments, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible/Terraform
- Detection and response experience within cloud environments, including Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure
- Experience owning and managing security monitoring pipelines, including the ELK stack and beats
- Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), network edge protection, web filtering, or other security tools
- Experience using machine learning and generative AI to improve security workflows
- Experience analyzing threats according to the MITRE ATT&CK framework
- A bachelor's degree in a STEM field
