About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager to join our team at Cisco ThousandEyes. As a key member of our customer success organization, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional support and solutions to our premium support accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactive Support: Provide timely and effective support to our customers, working closely with our 24x7 support team to ensure seamless follow-the-sun support.
  • Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain highly collaborative relationships with our customers, identifying opportunities to drive business value and growth.
  • Network Optimization: Work with customers to optimize their network systems, ensuring peak performance and efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including sales and engineering, to address product issues and identify workarounds and solutions.
  • Escalations: Assume the role of escalation manager as needed, ensuring timely communication to all stakeholders for escalated issues with high impact or strategic visibility.
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of network and application protocols, with expertise in cloud/SaaS software products and web technologies.
  • Customer-Facing Experience: Have at least 3-5+ years of experience working directly with customers in a technical support, solutions engineering, customer success, or technical customer-facing organization.
  • Education: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
  • Soft Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote or virtual team environment.
