At Amazon, we are seeking a seasoned Vendor Manager to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive business growth by fostering strong relationships with our vendors.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a proven track record of analytical capabilities, and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks. They will be responsible for owning forecasting, monitoring, understanding, and reporting on the business, as well as driving projects and promotions to achieve business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the business owner for assigned categories, possessing a comprehensive understanding of internal and external variables that impact the business
- Developing and executing project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies
- Cross-functional team coordination, stakeholder communication, and meeting tight deadlines
A successful Vendor Manager will have a complete understanding of customer needs, both existing and potential, and use this knowledge to advocate for and drive delivery of site features that provide Amazon customers with an unparalleled shopping experience.

About the Role
This role requires 3+ years of Excel experience, 5+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience, and proficiency in both English and Spanish. Experience managing large data sets, financial analysis, and P&L ownership are preferred qualifications.
