**Salary Range:** $55,000 - $65,000 per year (dependent on location and experience)

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced Cook II to join our culinary team at W Hotels. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients, cooking meals, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
  • Pull fresh fruits and vegetables from storage areas and wash or peel as necessary.
  • Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
  • Prepare cold foods and ensure they are stored at proper temperatures.
  • Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely and efficiently.
  • Test cooked foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality while preparing food and presenting dishes.

**Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • No supervisory experience required.
