About This Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Business Development Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for building and strengthening relationships with key decision-makers and a portfolio of clients in the mid-market segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a commercial card growth strategy, aligning with support groups and driving increased levels of client entrenchment.
  • Represent the client's point of view on critical business decisions and maximize spend penetration by industry and product.
  • Grow the commercial card business through increasing billings while maximizing marginal contribution on existing accounts.

Requirements

  • In-depth knowledge of commercial card business and financial acumen.
  • Ability to develop and strengthen relationships at all levels of client organization.
  • Structured methodology for relationship management and pipeline management experience.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence internally and externally.
  • Ability to quickly understand the complexity and nuances of Amex products/processes and resources.
