Job Title: Channel Manager

As a Channel Manager at ESET DACH, you will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy and distribution chain for our company. Your primary goal will be to lead commercial actions and meet sales objectives within your territory, positioning ESET solutions for current and new clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and act as a commercial link between ESET and channels, distributors, and wholesalers regarding renewal processes and new license generation.
  • Advise partners on commercialization of ESET products and implement methodologies to increase sales in cooperation with the channel.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans with ESET and partner marketing areas to improve sales.
  • Analyze client and prospect portfolios to maximize sales opportunities in cooperation with the channel.
  • Coordinate events and breakfasts with clients to promote ESET security solutions and track client relationships.
  • Generate new contacts and business opportunities and assign prospects to partners.
  • Participate in meetings with end customers and advise on products in cooperation with partners.
  • Monitor the commercial process from prospect generation to sale closure.
  • Formulate ESET commercial policies considering geographical area specifics.
  • Manage channel conflicts regarding prospect allocation and evaluate discount or promotion possibilities to gain competitive advantage.
  • Recruit and propose new channels or strategic channels based on product characteristics and market features.
  • Develop markets for new businesses considering ESET product features and industry specifics.
  • Prepare presentations and materials to promote ESET products and develop marketing skills on ESET solutions' features and operation.
  • Act as ESET spokesperson on company issues and comply with Information Security Policies and Directives.
  • Integrate ESET Latin America's values into every decision and day-to-day behavior, making them a pillar of the corporate culture and transmitting them in every task.
Requirements:
  • Complete university studies in Marketing or similar.
  • 3 years of working experience in the Commercial Area (services, education, or products) for the IT Industry.
  • Knowledge of the National wholesale market.
  • Experience in managing a CRM system.
  • Sales skills and techniques.
  • Relationship management skills.
  • English: Intermediate level.
  • Result-oriented, customer-oriented, teamwork, communication, initiative/proactivity, planning, coordination, organization, and control.
Magnitude (Area of Impact):

Depending on the Partner portfolio, the impact ranges from 30% to 15% of the quota for the office.
