Business Development Manager for Vendor Onboarding

About the Role
As a Business Development Manager for Vendor Onboarding, you will play a crucial role in shaping and delivering our strategy for onboarding new vendors for Amazon Retail. You will be responsible for engaging directly with new vendors to onboard them, as well as working with internal teams to increase selection and add value to our final customer.
The ideal candidate will be an effective listener, communicator, and problem-solver with strong expertise in process optimizations and systems thinking. You will utilize a wide range of negotiation skills and work across major functional areas to achieve your goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and execute pricing strategies
- Identify and onboard new vendors, create catalogs, and add selection
- Succeeding in this role will be measured by the performance of your tasks and deliverables based on input metrics

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2+ years of sales or account management experience
- 2+ years of digital advertising and client-facing roles experience
- Experience with Excel
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience analyzing key open issues and resolution metrics for each managed account
- Experience in relationship management within technology, start-ups, or SaaS platforms
The estimated salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
