**Job Summary:**
The Pre-Sales Consultant Services Specialist will be responsible for selling SoftwareOne's Solutions & Services, with a focus on growing, landing, and expanding customer relationships. This role will involve working closely with account managers, technical pre-sales teams, and customers to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage the sales lifecycle, driving new business and sales activities at a customer level.
- Partner with field-based account managers to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Lead negotiations and coordinate complex decision-making processes to maximize opportunities.
- Analyze and gather business requirements from complex client environments and create thorough, accurate technical solution proposals.
- Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and contracts for solutions and services sales.
- Contribute to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues and providing information and commentary pertinent to deliberations.
- Assist and support partnership and alliance functions, including vendor partner relationships.
- Act as a technical evangelist for marketing activities, including speaking and presenter engagements.
**Requirements:**
- Ability to effectively manage the sales lifecycle.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and create technical solution proposals.
- Experience in sales and business development, preferably in the software industry.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of software solutions and services.
