BAT MEXICO IS HIRING A CONSUMER DATA EXECUTIVE

SENIORITY LEVEL: Junior Level

FUNCTION: Insights & Foresights

LOCATION: Monterrey

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

This position is tasked with overseeing analytical functions within the organization, which includes data gathering, information analysis, audience segmentation, profile development, website assessments, monitoring key behavioral metrics, and implementing analytical solutions for products or services to create an effective CRM strategy.

As a member of the GBS Insights & Foresights Team, you will assist business teams in making informed decisions using integrated data solutions and establish metrics that drive successful business outcomes.

The role delivers objective, timely, and pertinent marketing insights/analysis to support the company's decision-making process, oversee strategy execution, and enhance overall business performance. This position is crucial in shaping the organization's success in the evolving digital and social landscape.

Reports to: Senior Manager Consumer Analytics

Geographic Scope: US

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Employ analytical techniques to address business inquiries and generate actionable reports for end-users. Derive insights from diverse data sources to aid predictions and data-driven decisions, monitoring critical metrics such as reach, follower counts, impressions, engagement, sentiment analysis, brand mentions, traffic sources, and cost per lead. Assess audience effectiveness, pinpoint retargeting and demographic targeting prospects, and amalgamate offline/online data for thorough analysis. Examine consumer data to refine campaigns, marketing strategies, and business approaches, revealing trends and patterns. Review marketing initiatives and relay insights to stakeholders. Cultivate managerial capabilities as specified in the personal development plan. Collaborate with the Insights & Foresights Team, Brand, and Consumer Experience Teams to incorporate new technologies into daily operations. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to comprehend business inquiries, identify data sources, execute models, and present findings.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

2-3 years of experience in Analytics/Digital with senior partner management and project management expertise in a large-scale organization. Prior hands-on experience in Consumer Analytics, Audience Management/Analytics, Digital Marketing. High proficiency in English (both written and spoken) as the role focuses on the US market. Experience working with English-speaking partners is advantageous. Proficient in Excel and Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), PowerPoint, and Social Media Platforms. Knowledge of dashboarding: building, configuring, and customizing for data democratization to facilitate easy access and interpretation of data (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Power BI, Tableau). Intermediate proficiency in SQL. Strong interpersonal abilities with the capacity to communicate effectively with senior management and other key stakeholders.
