Job Title: Customer Support Specialist - Technical Operations
Department: Customer Experience Product Support
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Position Overview:
We're looking for self-motivated, action-oriented individuals to join our Product Support team, providing technical assistance to customers in the US and Canada related to the OmniPod System. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for helping others, and possess excellent troubleshooting skills, we'd like to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Respond timely and satisfactorily to resolve customer inbound calls, supporting all current OmniPod System pump models and drug delivery systems.
- Utilize process flows and work instructions to accurately record and document all customer interactions within the CRM system, adhering to federal FDA regulations.
- Act as a customer advocate, representing the customer's needs internally.
- E nsure work is performed in compliance with company policies, including Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional call handling soft skills are required, including active listening, empathy, and reassuring the customer.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or certification from an accredited program for technical and/or clinical education.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in technical or clinical/medical device support roles.
- Experience with electronic documentation systems is required.
- Working in a HIPAA environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to type at least 45 WPM with high accuracy.
Compensation: The estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications. This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements (requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least once a week; may work remotely on other days).
