Ciudad de México, Ciudad de México HiSEAS International Tourism Group A tiempo completo

HiSeas International Tourism Group

HiSeas is a respected global Destination Management Company (DMC) specializing in delivering customized travel solutions across Group Leisure, MICE, and educational travel, with Europe as a significant focus. As we continue to expand our presence in the US outbound market, we are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to lead both sales and strategic partnerships for our European travel products as well as our other global destinations.

This role is ideal for an individual with proven sales capabilities, the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities, and a track record of closing deals and building long-term B2B relationships within the travel industry. If you possess strong closing skills, DMC experience, and a comprehensive understanding of the Latin American outbound market, we encourage you to apply.

Note: This position will be based in Mexico City.

What You Will Do:

  • Drive new B2B sales by identifying, pitching, and securing partnerships with US-based tour operators and travel agencies focused on European travel.
  • Manage the full sales cycle — from initial prospecting and compelling presentations to contract negotiation, onboarding new partners, and fostering ongoing relationships for retention.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, with a focus on achieving mutual growth, ensuring client satisfaction, and delivering long-term value.
  • Collaborate closely with our global operations teams to facilitate a smooth transition and ensure the successful delivery of services to our partners and their clients.
  • Identify emerging market trends and develop strategic approaches to position HiSeas as a leading DMC partner for Europe.
  • Participate in industry trade shows, sales missions, and networking events to generate leads and enhance brand visibility.
  • Coordinate and host familiarization (FAM) trips and educational tours to provide travel advisors and partners with firsthand experience of our European offerings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on co-branded campaigns and partner promotions targeting the leisure travel segment.
  • Track and report on sales performance, profitability metrics, and pipeline activity utilizing our CRM system and other company tools.
  • Provide market feedback to internal teams to support product development and sourcing initiatives.
  • Stay informed about competitor offerings and evolving trends within the European travel market.

What You Bring:

  • A minimum of three years of demonstrated experience in sales or business development within the travel industry, with preference given to candidates with experience working for or with a European DMC.
  • A successful history of generating and closing new B2B business within the Latin American travel trade (tour operators, travel advisors, consortia).
  • A solid understanding of the European travel landscape and effective strategies for engaging Latin American clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both in virtual and in-person settings.
  • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms for efficient sales activity management and reporting.
  • Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage your sales pipeline and schedule in a remote work environment.
  • Flexibility and a collaborative approach, with the capacity to work effectively across international teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for meetings, trade shows, and FAM trips.
  • A detail-oriented and commercially aware mindset, with a focus on profitability and operational viability.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with travel companies with ownership or operations in international markets.
  • Ability to travel to The US.
  • A bachelors or higher degree in tourism, hospitality, or a related field.

What we Offer:

  • Competitive base salary range of $40,000-$60,000 USD
  • Performance-based bonus and commission opportunities
  • Comprehensive health insurance coverage
  • Vacation and paid company holidays
  • Opportunity for some remote work flexibility
  • Domestic and International travel opportunities

This role offers a comprehensive sales leadership opportunity within a growing global company. If you are an entrepreneurial and goal-oriented individual seeking to make a significant impact on the Latin American market for European and broader international travel, we encourage you to connect with us
