About the Role

We are looking for a
Business Development Manager (BDM)
based in
Mexico City
to develop and grow business opportunities within the
government and public sector
.

This role is suitable for a sales professional who understands
how to work with government organizations
, navigate public-sector environments, and build trusted relationships with government stakeholders.

Industry background is flexible
— experience working with government customers is the key requirement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage business opportunities with
    government and public sector customers
  • Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Identify and pursue government projects, tenders, and business opportunities
  • Coordinate internal teams and external partners to support government sales activities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification to project closure
  • Monitor government initiatives, policies, and market developments

Requirements

  • Proven experience in
    government or public sector sales / business development
  • Strong understanding of how to engage with government organizations
  • Experience with tenders, RFPs, or public procurement is a strong plus
  • Industry background is open (technology, telecom, security, infrastructure, IT, etc.)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Fluent Spanish is required; English is a plus
  • Willingness to travel within Mexico as needed
