Our client is a well-established German industrial machinery manufacturer with almost 100 years of engineering excellence and a strong global footprint, operating more than 30 subsidiaries across the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia.
As part of its strategic expansion in Latin America, you will take full ownership of the market entry in Mexico, driving business development, customer and partner relationships, and building a sustainable client base for the company's products in wastewater technology, biogas, agricultural and industrial applications.
To support your commercial activities, an experienced inside sales team is based in Spain, while additional technical and operational support is provided by the company's subsidiary in Brazil.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Drive business development and sales across Mexico for the client's products in wastewater technology, agriculture, biogas and industrial applications.
- Establish, manage and expand a dealer and partner network in Mexico across the target segments.
- Develop and coordinate a local service network in close cooperation with headquarters and regional support teams.
- Define and implement market entry, marketing, sales and service strategies for Mexico.
- Organise and deliver product and application trainings for dealers and customers.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences and industry events in Mexico.
- Coordinate budgets, sales forecasts and pipeline reporting to the regional sales management for South America.
- Work closely with global sales, marketing and technical teams to ensure consistent market positioning and high-quality customer support.
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and experiences:
- A technical education in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, or similar, with strong hands-on skills and the ability to understand and communicate technical products effectively.
- Solid knowledge of developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, with a strong track record in B2B machinery sales. Experience with pumps, agricultural machinery, biogas, or wastewater equipment is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce is an advantage.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, resilience, and a strong drive to build a new business from the ground up.
