Overview
We are seeking an Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our client's team-a respected and trusted product studio. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you'll be the front line of our growth efforts identifying, engaging, and qualifying new business opportunities. This is not your typical "dial-for-dollars" sales role. You'll dive deep into target markets, research leads like a detective, and craft compelling outreach that sparks meaningful conversations. Your mission? Generate pipeline, open doors, and be the reason exciting clients find their way to our client.
Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Own and manage the outbound prospecting process by identifying, engaging, and qualifying leads among startups, scale ups, and digital decision-makers in corporate teams.
Craft Smart Outreach:
Go beyond generic messages. You'll open conversations with insight, research, and relevance, not a list of services. Your outreach should feel like a breath of fresh air in someones inbox.
ICP Analysis & Opportunity Spotting:
Use Ideal Customer Profiles, market trends, and behavioral data to find compelling entry points for conversation. Collaborate with leadership to refine outreach strategies and angles.
Lead Qualification:
Dive deep to understand potential clients pain points, strategic goals, and product gaps. You're not just setting up calls- you're surfacing real opportunities.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Relay market insights to the sales, marketing, and product teams to fine-tune messaging and service offerings. Be the bridge between prospects and our internal innovation engine.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong writing skills- you can tell a compelling story in a short message.
- Exceptional relationship-building abilities with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Research chops–you love digging into an industry or company.
- A basic understanding of B2B sales or a genuine interest in learning it.
- Organization and follow-through you can juggle leads and deadlines.
- A self-starter attitude with a hunger to learn, experiment, and grow.
- Highly analytical & strategic you can spot a business problem from a mile away.
- Curious, consultative, and conversational you ask the right questions and listen for clues.
- Self-starter mindset- you take initiative and thrive in a remote-first team.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, LinkedIn, Notion, or HubSpot.
- Curiosity about how digital products are built and taken to market.
You Will Impress Us If:
- You understand SaaS, product studios, or startup ecosystems.
- You have 3+ years in sales, BD, or a similar role (but if you're a hungry young outlier, we still want to hear from you).
- You can write clear and professional emails that grab attention.
- You're excited about building connections, business development, and professional communication.
