Human Resources Intern

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating new hire onboarding.
  • Support HR staff in maintaining accurate employee records and updating HR databases.
  • Assist with the preparation of HR-related documents, presentations, and reports.
  • Help organize and coordinate employee engagement activities and events.
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries and direct more complex issues to the appropriate HR personnel.
  • Conduct research on HR best practices and assist with policy development and updates.
  • Support HR team with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling meetings.
  • Participate in special HR projects as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

Job Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in an office setting or customer service role is a plus, but not required.
