We're looking for a finance professional who has built a strong foundation in accounting across accounting, payroll, and tax. You’re ready to take on ownership for these processes end-to-end, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for all aspects of bookkeeping, accounting, closing the books, payroll, and both sales and income tax.
- Manage all core elements of the entire financial reporting process - revenue recognition and cost/expense matching, payroll, and closing the books.
- Drive continuous improvement of all systems integrations and automations to reduce close times and ensure the ability of our systems to timely and accurately generate required reporting.
- Own and execute monthly financial close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee payroll processing and manage all related compliance and reporting, including sales and income tax filings.
- Actively participate in professional development activities, including training, coaching, and self-directed learning.
- Dedicate approximately 10% of your time each week to learning, development, and coaching responsibilities.
**Requirements**:
- BA equivalent in Accounting, CPA, or CA
- 2+ years of past ownership of end-to-end accounting, payroll, and tax processes in SaaS companies.
- 8+ years of experience at an operating company as an Accountant/Senior Accountant/Accounting Manager owning key finance processes.
- Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and key financial and operational systems (CRM, HRIS, and sales tax software)
- Clarity and timeliness of communication of needs, expectations, and results

**Nice to have**
- Experience driving process improvements and automation.
- Experience in leading migrations/transformations to new finance and operational platforms
- Experience interacting with cross-functional teams or business unit leaders.
