Overview

Kemin Food Technologies is seeking an Account Representative in Jalisco This role will be responsible for selling Kemin’s products and services by calling on prospective and established customers. This position must maintain sales programs within the assigned portfolio by informing customers about available services, supplies, prices, and new products. The Account Representative is responsible for meeting budgeted sales and gross margin by obtaining and renewing orders. This Role works under close direct supervision. The person in this position is expected to support customers in tracking their orders. In addition, it will be responsible for completing all the necessary information in the system for projects and clients. The Account Representative is responsible for reviewing the condition of products when they arrive at the warehouse, including expiration date validation.

This is an entry-level and onsite position in our Zapopan facilities.

Responsibilities

Support business unit expansion and sales growth in assigned accounts. Achieve consistent growth in sales and gross margin for assigned accounts in accordance with annual sales budgets. Ensure that a sale is successfully completed with involvement at each stage of the sales process. Identifying prospective customers and new business. Developing customer-based plans for new and existing customers. Establishing relationships with individuals at all levels of the customer’s organization. Responsible for selling the complete Kemin product lines sold into the specific industry. Develops and maintains customer database. Assures maintenance of sales reporting database. Develop cooperative relationships with key customers and industry groups. After-sales monitoring is used to maintain the customer's supply. Prepare all the necessary documents for processing orders. Keeping the price lists of customers and distributors up to date Responsible for utilizing CRM for sales reports and activities. Work together with a sales Manager as part of a team.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, food science, or related field.

1-2 years of experience working in sales.

Professional experience as a customer service representative, Inside Sales, or Sales Associate.

Intermediate English Level is desired.

Experience working with the food industry.

Experience working with customers in sales.

Critical thinking.

Analytical Skills.

Interpersonal skills.
