The  Education Consultant  plays a critical role in achieving this objective. They work collaboratively with customers to help them build product knowledge, increase user adoption and achieve ROI. They do this by designing and delivering high-quality, process-based tailored training that promotes NetSuite best practices. This Education Consultant role will focus primarily on customers who are currently implementing NetSuite but may also deliver training to Partners and our existing customers.

The  Education Consultant  works in a high-energy and dynamic environment, delivering training to multiple customers in a variety of industries. This position is responsible for the delivery of instructor-led onsite and virtual end-user training.

The Education Consultant works in partnership with the implementation team to assess customer training needs, develop custom curriculum and materials (written and elearning tutorials), and deliver quality training to ensure optimal user adoption. Education Consultants may deliver additional services such as Train the Trainer, Pre-UAT Training and Post Go Live Support Training. 

The ideal candidate possesses a passion for training, has excellent communication skills, can deliver instructor-led onsite and virtual-classroom sessions, can develop learning and reference materials, demonstrates excellent attention to detail, cares deeply about customer satisfaction, exhibits strong project management skills and embraces change.

All Education Consultants will learn the fundamentals to work with our customers to train them on our solutions that are specific to multiple industries.

Responsibilities: 

Deliver customer-specific End User Training including pre-go-live, Train the Trainer, pre-UAT and go-live support training based on the implementation project scope for a customer. Advise customers how to make best use of their learning subscription and develop a strategy (Learning Action Plan) to combine eLearning with live training to maximize end user adoption. Recommend best practices from a user adoption, training, and business management perspective. Understand and apply adult learning techniques and adjust the training solution according to the specific requirements of the customer. Understand the NetSuite application in all functional areas as they relate to customer end user learning requirements. Apply that knowledge to solve customer business challenges. Learn and deliver training for Mexico and Colombia localizations of NetSuite and provide training and advising to support customers throughout Latin America and US/Canada. Take full ownership of multiple concurrent customer training projects. Interact with customers as needed for logistics, knowledge transfer and follow-up Deliver live instructor-led training sessions onsite at customer locations and in a virtual, interactive online environment. Deliver webinars and webinar series to a broad customer base. Participate in customer training requirements definition and training scoping conversations. Act as a subject matter expert to mentor colleagues and to contribute to curriculum development. Participate in the development of new offerings and improvement to processes, providing feedback and suggestions to education program management. Keep up to date on current and new product rollouts to ensure functional and technical knowledge, as well as training and presentation skills are continuously upgraded. Incorporate learning industry best practices and techniques in daily engagements. Adhere to Education Services Delivery methods, processes, procedures, and policies in the development and delivery of education services.

Qualifications/Skills:  

Candidates for the Education Consultant  role should have many of the following qualifications:

Minimum 2 years in the technology industry  1+ years of experience in a functional training or consultative role with emphasis on technology and business process training development, design, and delivery Strong presentation, training and group facilitation skills; familiar and competent with audience-engagement methods and techniques appropriate for all types of audiences Understanding of common industry standards as related to ERP along with standard business practices as related to Accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets), Inventory Management (Purchasing, Fulfillment, Warehouse Management) and/or Software/Services management functions (Revenue Recognition, Project Management, CRM). Ability to advise the customer and showcase the importance of their training strategy.  Drive value with the customer. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple demands and reprioritize as customer timelines shift. Highly adaptable and open to change so that you can best serve the needs of your customers. Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish skills that can be applied to documentation development, curriculum review, delivery, and all communication.

Este rol de Consultor de Educación se centrará principalmente en los clientes que están implementando actualmente NetSuite, pero también puede ofrecer formación a los socios y nuestros clientes existentes.

El Consultor de Educación trabaja en un entorno dinámico y de alta energía, ofreciendo formación a múltiples clientes en una variedad de industrias. Esta posición es responsable de la impartición de formación de usuarios finales virtuales e in situ dirigida por un instructor.

El consultor de educación trabaja en colaboración con el equipo de implantación para evaluar las necesidades de formación de los clientes, desarrollar materiales y planes de estudios personalizados (tutoriales escritos y de elearning) y ofrecer formación de calidad para garantizar una adopción óptima de los usuarios. Los consultores de educación pueden ofrecer servicios adicionales, como la formación del formador, la formación previa a la prueba de aceptación del usuario y la formación de soporte posterior a la puesta en marcha.

El candidato ideal tiene una pasión por la formación, tiene excelentes habilidades de comunicación, puede ofrecer sesiones in situ y de clase virtual dirigidas por instructores, puede desarrollar materiales de aprendizaje y referencia, demuestra una excelente atención al detalle, se preocupa profundamente por la satisfacción del cliente, exhibe fuertes habilidades de gestión de proyectos y adopta el cambio.

Responsabilidades:

Ofrezca formación específica del cliente para el usuario final, incluida la formación previa a la puesta en marcha, forme al formador, pre-UAT y soporte para la puesta en marcha, en función del alcance del proyecto de implantación de un cliente.
Indique a los clientes cómo hacer el mejor uso posible de su suscripción a la formación y desarrollar una estrategia (plan de acción de aprendizaje) para combinar eLearning con la formación en directo para maximizar la adopción por parte de los usuarios finales.
Recomendar mejores prácticas desde la perspectiva de la adopción, la formación y la gestión empresarial de los usuarios.
Comprender y aplicar técnicas de aprendizaje para adultos y ajustar la solución de entrenamiento de acuerdo con los requisitos específicos del cliente.
Comprenda la aplicación NetSuite en todas las áreas funcionales relacionadas con los requisitos de aprendizaje del usuario final del cliente. Aplique ese conocimiento para resolver los desafíos empresariales de los clientes.
Aprenda y ofrezca formación para las localizaciones de México y Colombia de NetSuite y proporcione formación y asesoramiento para apoyar a los clientes en Latinoamérica y EE. UU./Canadá.
Asuma la responsabilidad total de varios proyectos simultáneos de formación de clientes. Interactúe con los clientes según sea necesario para logística, transferencia de conocimientos y seguimiento
Ofrezca sesiones de formación en directo con instructor en las ubicaciones de los clientes y en un entorno virtual e interactivo en línea.
Ofrezca seminarios web y series de seminarios web a una amplia base de clientes.
Participe en la definición de requisitos de formación del cliente y en conversaciones sobre el ámbito de la formación.
Actuar como experto en materia a los colegas mentores y contribuir al desarrollo de los planes de estudios.
Participar en el desarrollo de nuevas ofertas y mejoras en los procesos, proporcionando retroalimentación y sugerencias para la gestión de programas educativos.
Manténgase al día de las implementaciones actuales y nuevas de productos para garantizar que los conocimientos técnicos y funcionales, así como las habilidades de formación y presentación se actualicen continuamente.

Calificaciones/Aptitudes:

Los candidatos para el rol de consultor de educación deben tener muchas de las siguientes calificaciones:

Mínimo 2 años en la industria tecnológica
Más de 1 año de experiencia en una formación funcional o función consultiva con énfasis en el desarrollo, diseño y entrega de formación en tecnología y procesos empresariales
Sólidas habilidades de presentación, formación y facilitación de grupos; familiarizadas y competentes con los métodos y técnicas de interacción con la audiencia apropiados para todo tipo de audiencias
Conocimientos de los estándares comunes del sector relacionados con ERP junto con las prácticas de negocio estándar relacionadas con las funciones de contabilidad (cuentas a cobrar, cuentas a pagar, contabilidad general, Fixed Assets), Inventory Management (compras, satisfacción, Warehouse Management) y/o gestión de software/servicios (reconocimiento de ingresos, gestión de proyectos, CRM).
Capacidad para asesorar al cliente y mostrar la importancia de su estrategia de formación.
Impulse el valor con el cliente.
Excelentes habilidades de gestión del tiempo, con la capacidad de gestionar múltiples demandas y volver a priorizar a medida que cambian las líneas de tiempo de los clientes.
Altamente adaptable y abierto al cambio para que pueda satisfacer mejor las necesidades de sus clientes.
Excelentes habilidades de inglés y español escritas y verbales que se pueden aplicar al desarrollo de la documentación, revisión del plan de estudios, entrega y toda la comunicación.
