Ferring+You

The Regional Head Distributor Markets will define strategies and actions for the continuous access optimization of the Ferring portfolio in distributor markets in the Region, ensuring the optimal amount of products, in the right place, at the time it is required and will ensure efficient business relationships with Ferring clients and managing healthy inventories. The role will also establish the overall direction and priorities for the distributor business, hereunder identifying best ways to cluster and reduce the current number of partners where possible and will generate the appropriate strategies and conditions for the growth of Ferring in distributor markets in the Region focusing on people, product supply, commercial conditions, work with regional distributors.

Your day at Ferring

Develop strategies to market Ferring products in the Distributor Markets: Commercial conditions, inventory management, assist in the control DSO, harmonization, centralization, selection of distributors, contract management.

Collect, track, and provide information on market development in distributor markets, identifying opportunities with institutions, hospitals, and pharmacy chains. The above should be ensured for Ferring's current portfolio, and Access strategies should be developed for new launches.

Coordinate all activities (physical and remote) with distributors.

Guarantee the planning and forecast of monthly and annual sales (Budget and Forecast) and business plan in the distributor markets in the Region.

Establish best practice for management of distributors and lead negotiation of contracts. Manage the processes and activities related to the procurement processes (Bids and quotes).

Designs and proposes the annual plan and verifies its implementation in terms of results and financial management, developing the qualitative positioning in the market of interest, through a constant control of financial results, continuous analysis of results vs goals and timely identification and implementation of adequate corrective plans. Implement the needed control structures.

In charge of regional Income Statement (P & L), the preparation and approval of the Annual Budget, in close cooperation with the Director of Finance and in compliance with current regulations.

Oversee and ensure appropriate attention to compliance across the Distributor network.

University education, preferably with an MBA.

Good understanding of local laws.

Experience with distribution models in pharmaceutical business is mandatory.

Knowledgable in the area of ​​markets' access and inclusions and local health care systems.

10 years of experience in the commercial area in pharmaceutical markets in private and public segments: Management of distributors, Sales Forces, Key Accounts, Development of relationships with KDM in private and public segment.

Knowledge of the commercial dynamic.

Experience in Sales Force effectiveness.

Experience in Marketing.

Position to be based in Ferring key hubs in Latin America or major sites (Mexico, Colombia, Argentina).
