Head of Sales

WeWork is seeking a Strategic Sales Manager to help lead its sales efforts in the region. The Sales Associate Manager will work closely with the General Manager and other stakeholders in their region to drive growth for México.
The Sales Associate Manager is responsible for leading the entire sales team in Mexico in support of WeWork's revenue strategy and targets. You will be responsible for guiding and coaching them to success, helping them achieve their individual quotas. You will have a player-coach mentality and can build, coach, and develop a team of passionate and successful closers.
The successful candidate brings a proven track record of consultative sales and complex contract negotiations; experience building and leading sales teams; the ability to articulate WeWork's strategy and vision to a variety of audiences; and a willingness to embrace disruptive, fast-paced technology companies. This is a unique opportunity to build the structure and pipeline of an untapped market that is looking to address the evolving needs of their employee culture and real estate footprint.
- Build, motivate, coach, and assist a sales team and its members in all phases of the selling process to achieve agreed-upon targets and performance metrics.
- Develop and execute sales plans and coordinate sales efforts to achieve new customer revenue.
- Meet or exceed defined sales quota through strategic account planning, networking, and use of company resources.
- Ensure operational excellence in the day-to-day management of the business including forecasting, pipeline development, training, hiring, performance management, and team collaboration.
- Develop and implement best practices to maximize pipeline creation, conversion rates, forecasting accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Work with various internal teams to drive member satisfaction to ensure opportunities for additional business growth.
- Collaborate with our Physical Product group to provide input on layout, design, and construction of spaces that are optimized for members.
- Provide strong leadership, mentorship, vision, and direction.
- Build and cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders across several departments to align on priorities.
- Be a strong team player who can make decisions and excel in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Serve as point person to help project manage new building openings across the city.
- Oversee, assist, and close complex and high-value transactions.
- Be a subject matter expert and thought leader on market trends to drive WeWork's approach to hitting revenue targets.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of the WeWork offerings while staying current in understanding the competitive landscape and industry trends.
We'd love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:
- 7+ years of sales experience, and 3+ years of sales management experience.
- Proven success scaling out a sales team and consultative sales success in establishing effective relationships with key decision-makers.
- A natural leader who prides themselves on their ability to inspire others.
- A problem solver who can independently translate high-level goals into actionable plans.
- Demonstrated ability to continuously increase effectiveness of the team, recognizing opportunities for creating new systems, structures, and processes.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce reporting and dashboards, and highly focused on numbers and process.
- Proven track record working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
- Strong executive presence - experience and comfort level working with C-level executives.
