As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a driven **Business Development Representative** to help grow our client base and generate high-quality leads for our sales team.**Role Overview**As a **Business Development Representative**, you will play a key role in identifying, engaging, and nurturing prospective clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong drive to succeed, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building relationships. Your ultimate goal will be to generate qualified leads for the sales team, ensuring they have a robust pipeline to convert into clients.**Key Responsibilities**- **Prospect Identification**: Research and identify target companies and decision-makers in the construction industry.- **Lead Qualification**: Assess potential clients to ensure they meet criteria for the sales pipeline and pass qualified leads to the sales team.- **CRM Management**: Log all interactions in HubSpot, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records for prospects and leads.- **Nurture Relationships**: Build trust and rapport with prospects through consistent and personalized follow-ups.- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation strategies and ensure alignment with company goals.- **Market Feedback**: Provide insights on market trends, customer pain points, and areas of opportunity to help shape future strategies.**What We’re Looking For**- **Experience**: 3-5 years in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the SaaS or construction industry.- **Communication Skills**: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a persuasive approach.- **Proactive Attitude**: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.- **Tech-Savvy**: Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and online research tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator.- **Results-Driven**: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation targets.- **Adaptability**: Ability to handle objections and think creatively to overcome challenges.- **Team Player**: Willingness to collaborate across teams and contribute to overall business success.- **Languages**: Fluent English is a requirement / Spanish is preferred but not required**What We Offer**- Competitive monthly salary with performance-based incentives ($2000 - $3000 USD per month OTE).- Fully remote work.- Opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing company in a vital industry.- Hands-on training and mentorship to support your career growth.- The chance to make a tangible impact on the success of SafetyClerk and our clients.**How to Apply**If you’re passionate about making connections, driving results, and contributing to a mission-driven company, we’d love to hear from you.
