- Contact the appropriate person or department (e.g., Sales, Data Administration, Accounting) as needed to address guest calls, requests, or issues. Utilize effective sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty to the Marriott brand. Determine and provide gifts to guests as a token of appreciation for their patronage (e.g., reward points, show tickets, gift certificates). Promote brand image awareness both internally and externally. Process requests to redeem points from the Marriott Rewards program. Process all room reservations, requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail. Enter Marriott Rewards program information using the appropriate software when taking guest reservations. Handle, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns. Perform general office tasks to support Sales and Marketing (e.g., filing, emailing, transcribing information, sending faxes). Assist management in employee training and motivation; lead by example.- Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensure neat and professional personal appearance and uniform, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and safeguard company assets.- Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate their service needs and address them with genuine appreciation.- Communicate with others using clear and professional language, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer phones using the appropriate protocol.- Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of fellow employees. Monitor the performance of others to ensure they meet expectations and quality standards. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing 10 pounds or less without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties requested by supervisors.

DESIRABLE SKILLS

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent certificate from a General Educational Development (GED) program.

Relevant Work Experience:
At least 2 years of related work experience.

Supervisory Experience:
No supervisory experience required.

License or Certification:
