Organization Development Sr Manager

Job Summary

The Sr Manager Organization Development works in close cooperation with the Sr Manager, Americas Organization Development Lead. This position manages key projects within the Organization Effectiveness workstream of Americas Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) for all Americas markets. The Sr Manager serves as an extension of the Org Effectiveness workstream in LATAM markets, advising business partners, intake and scoping of projects, and progress tracking for organization optimization projects throughout the business.

The Sr Manager will distill numerous inputs/ideas into meaningful actions and culturally relevant recommendations on the organization. The Sr Manager is expected to be a change agent and champion of workforce analytics, a connector across HR projects and teams, and, as a member of the Strategic Workforce Planning (SWP) leadership team, significantly contributes to building the SWP brand within the region and globally by supporting its mission and principles.

Job Functions

  • As a part of Strategic Workforce Planning, offers expertise to support optimization of organizational structure, design, process, and strategy. Drives a data-driven approach for organization assessment and direction-setting.
  • Personally manage and upskill HRBPs in organization design projects, fostering the development of capabilities, operating models, and structures needed to support the execution of business strategy.
  • Conduct organizational analysis to understand root causes to organizational performance issues and opportunities using key data elements such as span of control, attrition, etc., including recommendations and benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs to review current organizational structures and measures; build plans to support vital changes for enterprise and functional long-term strategies.
  • Partner with Sr HR Director LATAM to support leaders in organizational changes, providing process and project management tools that facilitate a proactive development of organizational capabilities.
  • Champion and coach through implementation and sustainability of Americas Position Management, Job Catalog, Skills Implementation, and Cost Center Hierarchy to maintain strong foundation of organizational data for SWP tools and org design.
  • Serve as a key point of contact with LATAM HR and Business Leaders. Enhance and maintain toolkit of best practices for organization development to enable HR Business Partners to assess and develop optimization plans for business areas they support.

Minimum Qualifications and Demonstrated Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Superior analytical capabilities with the ability to augment quantitative analyses with qualitative inputs, bringing forward actionable insights for HR and business leaders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to engage with and influence business leaders and HR Business Partners with complex and/or conceptual information.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines as required.
  • Strong knowledge of workforce analytics and planning principles, trends and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Strong Excel, database management skills and familiarity with visualization tools (Tableau, etc).

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration/strategy, finance, HR, or related degree. Advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
  • 7+ years progressive professional experience in a related field utilizing analytics and visualization tools to improve business outcomes; Cross-functional experience is desired.
  • 3+ years as a manager. Proven leadership ability providing leadership, coaching, guidance, and training to develop staff. Supervised subordinates or contractors with somewhat differentiated roles.
