The Pricing & Revenue Growth Manager (PRGM) will play a key role in advancing revenue growth management and analytics throughout John Crane. The PRGM will be a business partner to the sales leadership for a region (Americas, Europe, MEA, APAC) and will support portfolio directors for their pricing strategy in the region. The PRGM will evangelize the power of pricing and revenue growth and develop data analytics products to optimize revenue decisions at John Crane. You will become an invaluable partner to your stakeholders, help catalyze their thinking about what’s possible, identify meaningful insights from large data sources; interpret and communicate insights and findings from analysis and experiments to drive top-line growth. This role will coordinate with the Head of Pricing and other PRGM’s to build a consistent RGM approach, tools, processes and culture.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Be a great business partner to the regional sales leadership and their direct reports - Ensure the deployment and adoption of Revenue Growth Management processes, tools, and analytics. - Analyze pricing data, including competitor pricing strategies and market trends, to provide sales leaders and portfolio directors with actionable insight. - Identify, prioritize, and execute pricing opportunities and initiatives, together with key stakeholders from sales and portfolio management. - Drive the adoption of new revenue growth management initiatives throughout the organization, acting as a change agent to promote a Revenue Growth Management Culture. - Generate insights and drive decisions through dynamic analysis, using creativity to find a solution around a business issue.
**The Individual**
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: - Degree educated in business, finance, statistics, or related discipline. - 6-10 years of commercial experience required with at least 4 years of pricing experience in a B2B environment - Proven ability to impact and influence at a senior stakeholder level across markets with solid networking, influencing & communication skills. - Sound working knowledge of business processes and organizational frameworks, such as goals, strategy, culture, and structure with a deep understanding of commercial and financial processes. - 5+ years of team leadership/people management experience - Needs to be a very visible, credible leader, with the ability to lead others through ambiguity to drive clarity of execution. - Strong analytical, modeling, and data analytics skills. Knowledge of Power BI preferred - Excellent communicator with strong collaboration skills - Additional duties and responsibilities will vary based on departmental needs. - Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the Company’s goals. - Lifting guidelines in accordance with the Manual Lifting Guidelines noted in the Safety Handbook. - Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company’s environmental performance goals. - Complete, and actively participate in all other EHS training requirements.
