About the Role
Sell Abnormal Security solutions to defined Enterprise level territory, overachieve annual recurring revenue quota. Work SLED accounts (>3.5k mailbox organizations) from initial conversations to signing a contract, up-selling once a customer. Be a voice for customers/prospects with internal teams to ensure prioritization for revenue closure.

Responsibilities
Build pipeline by balancing five sources of lead generation: AE Sourced, Marketing, BDR, Channel, and Customer referrals. Conduct discovery calls/meetings to uncover prospect pain points and needs. Assess budget, need, and timing for Abnormal's product offerings. Demonstrate and communicate value to prospects. Work alongside sales engineering, product, and founders to ensure effective communication. Negotiate deal terms and pricing with prospects and their legal/procurement teams.

Requirements
Must Haves: SLED Account Hunter, Demonstrated 5+ years of direct SLED experience prospecting, closing new logos, and growing major accounts. Skill in negotiating with State/Local Government and K-12 organizations and closing complex sales. Proven performer with consistent over quota performance and/or top 5% of sales org. Technically competent: Conversant in key areas: security, email, cloud, AI, etc.

Preferred Qualifications
Nice to Have: BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience. Experience selling subscription software/SaaS to CISOs and security personnel. Success at a company that was early stage, underdog, or new entrant with large competitors or similar. Ability to hunt, qualify, and present value to customers.
