About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Consulting Engineer to join our team at Cisco Systems. As a Technical Consulting Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our customers and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with and support customers remotely to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering and development teams to reproduce and resolve customer problems.
  • Develop and deliver technical training and knowledge-sharing initiatives to internal stakeholders.
  • Write technical articles, tutorials, and how-to guides for the developer community.
  • Participate in big events like Cisco Live to showcase technical expertise and share knowledge with the industry.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Professional experience in related fields, with a strong background in network architecture, design, and implementation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present and communicate technical ideas effectively.
  • Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Ability to take ownership of customer success and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to successfully manage tasks and complete them in a timely manner.
  • Hands-on experience with network management protocols, quality of service, and security features.
  • Knowledge of network topologies, lab setups, and collaboration with multiple technologies.
  • Ability to learn new skills and adapt to business needs.
  • Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams and adapt to new situations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with network management protocols, quality of service, and security features.

  • Experience with network virtualization, server virtualization, and cloud computing.
  • Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python and scripting.
  • Hold industry-related certifications, such as CCNA, Cisco Devnet Associate, or CCNP Data Center.
