Senior Business Development Manager

The role of Senior Business Development Manager corresponds to a high-level commercial banking position. This individual directly manages a team of sales professionals and is responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion across a large client base.
The position requires strong leadership and negotiation skills to establish and maintain relationships with key clients, including CFOs, CEOs, and Treasurers. The successful candidate will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development: Establish new business relationships and strengthen existing ones, ensuring fair outcomes for all types of clients.
- Client Communication: Communicate new products, propositions, and relevant market information to clients.
- Sales Strategy: Proactively identify sales opportunities and develop these opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Team Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize cross-selling opportunities and drive business growth.
- Event Management: Participate in and generate events, initiatives, and activities to develop business opportunities.
- Distribution Channel Development: Develop and implement distribution channel business development strategies.
- Risk Management: Protect the bank's reputation and ensure an acceptable risk profile while deepening understanding of clients through credit and customer due diligence reviews.
- Revenue Growth: Increase new revenue through the execution of focused strategies.
- Strategic Conversations: Engage in high-level conversations to define punctual points of action according to the specific needs of each business line.
- Business Knowledge: Work closely with ISB, having a deep knowledge of the needs of the business line to elaborate specific projects and integral proposals with other areas.
- Process Improvement: Identify focal pain points for internal/external commercial cash management processes to correct them and improve the fee charging process, directly affecting revenue increase.
- Event Coordination: Manage the coordination of national commercial events to potentiate the increase in attracting new clients and new operations/services with existing clients.
- Commercial Strategy: Proven ability to deliver creative and flexible commercial strategies.
- Time Management: Excellent time management, planning, and organization skills.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills.
