About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Support Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support and technical expertise to our clients. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to their complex technical issues.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of cloud-based technologies and services, including AWS Security, Identity and Access Management, and CloudTrail. You will also have the chance to collaborate with our development teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.

We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about cloud computing and has a strong background in system administration, networking, and security. If you are a motivated and customer-focused individual who is looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer support and technical expertise to our clients
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions to their complex technical issues
  • Collaborate with our development teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud-based technologies and services
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
Requirements
  • Experience with system administration and troubleshooting in Linux and/or Windows
  • Experience with networking and troubleshooting
  • Experience in secure corporate access and communications including protection from attacks and vulnerabilities
  • Understanding of Identity and Access Management, Cryptography, Security monitoring and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of security and compliance standards (eg. CVE, CIS, HSM)
  • Knowledge of safeguarding sensitive data and implementing security best practices
  • Understanding of Cloud Computing and Cloud Security concepts
  • One or more security-related certifications (eg. CISSP, CISA, CISM, Security+, OSCP)
