Senior Sales and Business Development Manager

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and business strategies to drive growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales and business plans to achieve commercial and business objectives
- Lead the sales process, identifying customers and sales channels, and managing profit and loss responsibility
- Train and develop sales representatives and account managers in solution-selling skills
- Act as liaison between the company and field representatives, facilitating business processes and resolving problems
- Manage sales goals, forecasting sales, tracking margins, and managing costs
- Supervise and mentor sales team members, providing guidance and support to ensure success
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5-7 years of extensive and successful sales experience or combination of education and experience
- Excellent customer service, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Ability to understand and explain technical electrical systems and material handling
- Basic math ability and proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Masters degree in a related field
- Previous supervisory experience
