Job Summary

EnerSys Delaware Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and business strategies to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales and business plans to achieve commercial and business objectives
  • Lead the sales process, identifying customers and sales channels, and managing profit and loss responsibility
  • Train and develop sales representatives and account managers in solution-selling skills
  • Act as liaison between the company and field representatives, facilitating business processes and resolving problems
  • Manage sales goals, forecasting sales, tracking margins, and managing costs
  • Supervise and mentor sales team members, providing guidance and support to ensure success
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5-7 years of extensive and successful sales experience or combination of education and experience
  • Excellent customer service, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to understand and explain technical electrical systems and material handling
  • Basic math ability and proficiency in Microsoft applications
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in a related field
  • Previous supervisory experience
Work Environment
