Senior Front Office Manager Role at SLS Playa Mujeres Cancun

SLS Playa Mujeres Cancun, All-Inclusive Collection is seeking a seasoned Director of Rooms to lead our Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping and Laundry departments. As a key member of our pre-opening team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service while maximizing room revenue and developing team members.

Job Description:
  • Lead the Rooms Division in all areas, including Front Office, Guest Services, Housekeeping and Laundry.
  • Daily management of Rooms Division, ensuring clear communication with and amongst departments to provide complete guest and team member satisfaction.
  • Continuously evaluate performance of each Rooms Division manager, taking corrective actions when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in the hotel industry, preferably in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel.
  • A proficient understanding of computer systems such as Opera, Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook, point of sale systems.
  • The ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • A solid understanding of local legal compliance requirements.

Our estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on your qualifications and experience.

This position reports directly to the Hotel Manager and requires a strong understanding of hospitality operations, leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
