What's the Opportunity?

We're seeking a talented Head of Partnership Operations - LATAM to lead a high-performing team and manage key partnerships in the region. The role involves running current operations effectively and exploring new business opportunities that add value for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to and expand partnerships between dLocal, acquirers, issuing banks, and card schemes across Latin American markets.
  2. Support challenging agendas with issuers and analyze data to detect improvement opportunities.
  3. Investigate and bring business solutions or tools to improve services and expand business.
  4. Identify new partner/market features/capabilities to boost approval rates or reduce fraud scheme friction.
  5. Track and measure results of actions taken with third parties or as part of the squad's optimization.
  6. Work closely with product, customer success, and technology teams to maximize dLocal's acceptance rate.
  7. Understand dLocal's operations to detect and prevent operational and system/technical problems and suggest operational improvements.
Requirements:
  1. Over 7+ years of experience in Fintech, Payments Industry, Banking, Financial Services, or similar industries.
  2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships with partners.
  3. Experience leading high-performance teams.
  4. Excellent analytical, technical, and project management skills.
  5. Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and topics at the same time.
  6. Proactive and self-driven contributor able to propose and implement new processes.
  7. Experience working with issuing banks or acquirers is a plus.
  8. Advanced/Fluent English.
