About the Role:

The Strategic Relationship Manager is a key professional who plays a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients. This role requires a deep understanding of the client's business needs and the ability to provide tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, understanding their business needs and providing solutions to meet those needs.
  • Solution Development: Work with product specialists and subject matter experts to develop innovative and customized solutions for clients.
  • Cross-Selling Opportunities: Identify opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet with existing clients.
  • Client Experience: Maximize client experience by sharing market updates, trends, and intelligence.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Execute strategic initiatives launched centrally, driving innovation and growth in the business.
  • Network and Collaboration: Network with clients to identify new business opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies and guidelines, assessing risk and escalating control issues as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 6-10 years of experience in corporate banking or a related field.
  • Knowledge: Sound knowledge of banking and investment products, as well as a track record of providing sound banking and financial advice and solutions to clients.
  • Credit Skills: Demonstrated sound credit skills, including the ability to structure complex deals and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team setting and coordinate multi-functional teams.
  • Education: Bachelor's/University degree, with a Master's degree preferred.
