Job Overview
">This position is a key role within the Support organization, focusing on delivering post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base. The successful candidate will serve as an advocate for customer needs, resolving technical questions and inquiries via phone and electronic means.
">About the Role
">We are seeking a Senior Technical Support Engineer who will offer strategic technical support to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. A primary focus will be creating/utilizing automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose, document, and resolve/avoid customer issues.
">Key Responsibilities
">The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years' experience with Core products or eight years' experience with Applications products, along with a degree in Computer Science/Management Information Systems/Science/Engineering/Math/Physics/Chemistry. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential, as well as experience in log reading, SQL tuning, knowledge of networks, database configuration, server configuration, Web Server optimization, load balancing hardware.

- Working experience in XML, web services, java, JavaScript, PLSQL, databases, and Groovy scripting">
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities">
- Experience monitoring, tuning, and/or changing complex applications to optimize the product to perform to customer expectations">
- A deep understanding of underlying technologies, business process expertise, and support process knowledge to interact with a broad spectrum of people within Oracle and customers">
