About the Role

This position is responsible for the development of Endobariatrics & Closure therapy in Mexico. The successful candidate will design and execute a marketing therapy plan that aligns with the strategic priorities of Boston Scientific Endobariatrics franchise – Endoscopy division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Endobariatrics Manager in the strategic development and product vision of the franchise in Mexico.
  • Identify key accounts, healthcare professionals, and business issues that impact the use of company products by meeting with existing and potential customers.
  • Develop value proposals for clear positioning of the different products in the country and different regions.
  • Develop and enhance relationships through therapy awareness activities, routine customer visits, product demonstrations, educational programs, procedural observation, trade show participation, and problem resolution.
  • Lead the Endobariatric and closure education strategy in Mexico, adapting the region's strategy and seeking optimal execution.
  • Cultivate relationships with main medical associations linked to therapies and develop collaboration strategies.
  • Identify key patient journey and referral networks opportunities and strategies for these therapies.
  • Develop portfolio, promotions, pricing, account penetration strategies, and forecast analysis in collaboration with the Endobariatrics Manager and Team.
  • Lead Market Therapy analysis: competitors, behavior patterns, prices, portfolio, pains, therapy tendencies, step-by-step techniques, clinical data, objection management.
  • Collaborate with Marketing in the development of solutions and materials for use in the field, courses, workshops, talks, etc.
  • Collaborate in the development of Digital Marketing Strategy of the franchise and within the physicians that promote these therapies.
  • Provide in-person support to regions of the country with high-impact activities for the division, as well as support activities for other countries in the region.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, marketing, or a related field.
  • Based in Mexico City.
  • At least 3 years of experience developing marketing and educational plans or at least 5 years as a field clinical specialist (Medical Devices).
  • Willingness to work in surgical areas and endoscopic procedures.
  • Experience in areas of endoscopy, surgery, or bariatrics is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Proven experience in developing educational plans, developing workshops, managing KOLs, and fluid communication with clinical specialists.
  • Knowledge of marketing tools, development of value propositions, and product positioning strategies.
  • Business acumen, including understanding P&L, budget management, global strategy, customer centricity, analytics, and ROI.
  • Collaboration on the development and follow-up of strategic projects for the different B2B, B2C, and B2G channels.
  • Technically capable, excellent communicator, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel (25% of the time).
