Key Responsibilities- Partner with HR Business Partners and people managers to address employee relations matters, including employee discipline, underperformance, terminations, reasonable accommodations, and complex leave scenarios.
- Advise and guide HR Business Partners on role eliminations and reductions in force, ensuring compliance with relevant legislative changes.
- Design and deliver training programs for employees, managers, and the HR team to enhance employee relations capabilities and ensure compliance with ER best practices.
- Triage employee complaints and provide support and guidance for workplace investigations as needed.
- Handle all matters related to Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), employee committees, and trade unions in the LATAM region.
- Closely collaborate with employment counsel to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Employee Relations or a related field, with 5+ years of relevant working experience.
- Expertise in consultation, guidance, and coaching to managers on sensitive and difficult employee behavior and performance concerns.
- Ability to establish influential partnerships with peers, senior leaders, and across organizational lines.
- Effective management of multiple priorities under tight deadlines, prioritizing conflicting demands, and executing initiatives with a bias towards action and solutions.
- Extensive experience and expertise working with CBAs, employee committees, and unions.
- Working fluency in English is preferred.
