Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Support Specialist II to join our team at Transplace. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day aspects of booking, shipping, tracking, and billing on import, export, and US domestic shipments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage freight operations, including negotiating competitive rates, tracking shipments, and resolving issues
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with shippers, receivers, and carriers
  • Utilize TMS to actively manage on-time performance and automation objectives
  • Identify and resolve financial discrepancies in TMS financials
  • Train carriers and customers on TMS and other logistics tools
  • Coordinate and direct shipments and deliveries to improve customer and carrier equipment utilization
Requirements
  • Working knowledge and utilization of TMS
  • Knowledge of Microsoft tools, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of the customer's business and supply chain
  • Transplace expertise, including understanding of the company's mission, values, and goals
  • Geographical expertise, including understanding of Mexico and its logistics
