About the Role

The Citi Commercial Banking Relationship Manager is a key professional role that requires a deep understanding of commercial banking products and processes. This role involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying business opportunities, and providing expert advice to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deepen relationships with clients through proactive communication and issue resolution
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Citi Commercial Bank's value proposition
  • Work closely with senior Relationship Managers to leverage expertise and capabilities of other Citi businesses
  • Drive innovation in solutions provided to clients and develop new business opportunities
  • Ensure deals are structured to balance risk and reward, aligning team incentives with client interests
  • Protect Citi's assets and reputation by being the first line of defense from a credit risk management perspective
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi's policies and guidelines
Requirements
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in commercial banking or a related field
  • Good understanding and knowledge of commercial banking products and processes
  • Intermediate knowledge of credit skills and Early Warning Detection
  • Intermediate understanding of accounting principles, financial modeling, and financial statement analysis
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting
  • Proven leadership ability with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Communicates views with clarity and confidence
  • Maintains contact with key stakeholders to proactively seek input as appropriate
  • Detail-oriented with demonstrated organizational skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Passion for creating new business opportunities with existing clients and ability to demonstrate innovative approaches
  • Ability to embrace new technology and understand the role digital plays in the experience delivered for clients
  • Positive mindset with a 'can-do' attitude, willingness to go the extra mile for providing sound advice and effective services to clients
  • Able to anticipate client requests/needs and resolve queries in a timely manner, leveraging internal resources
  • Must have a sharp business development focus and demonstrate innovative approaches
  • Demonstrates professionalism by being reliable, actively contributing in meetings, asking questions, and challenging ideas
Education

Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
