Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Marketing Activation Manager to champion the execution of globally approved marketing cycle plans that support and drive commercial objectives for assigned categories and brands. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer goods marketing and sales, with experience in analyzing and utilizing trade audit data.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Manager in planning and developing the annual marketing cycle plan and manage associated budgets.
- Analyze and propose tactical changes to the product range, pricing, and packaging based on in-market acquired knowledge.
- Coordinate the execution of central and locally created promotions, recommending local activity based on local market insights to increase consumer engagement.
- Monitor and periodically report on critical elements of competitive actions related to product, price, distribution, visibility, and promotions.
- Participate in customer presentations to stay informed on customer development and requirements.
- Establish portfolio ranging needs by market by channel and coordinate trade programs within a marketing cycle plan as needed.
- Analyze Nielsen data, including volume and value share, AUPs, source of volume, and formulate insights to better compete.
- Adapt sub-region marketing cycle plans to align with global and DMG plans as part of the annual business plan process.
- Manage execution of activities during key weeks to deliver volume and net sales during seasonal peaks.
- Coordinate closely with commercial teams to plan merchandising/visibility needs in modern and traditional channels.
- Manage relationships with BTL and digital agencies to ensure local planning and execution of activities.
- Provide analytical understanding of Nielsen audit data, reviewing category, pricing, portfolio, and distribution trends by segment vs. competition.
- Work with Finance to analyze business segments for range volume, net sales, and gross margin, and issue updates to Cluster leadership and commercial teams.
- Monitor and track competitor promotional activity.
- Ensure that A&P spending and phasing is as per ABP/QF planning.
Requirements
- English Upper Intermediate or above.
- Minimum 3-4 years of business experience.
- Solid evidence of working in consumer goods marketing and sales, with experience in any of the categories managed by Energizer Holdings.
- Degree or above in Business, Marketing, or a similar discipline.
- Exposure to working directly with customers and sales teams.
- Experience of analyzing and utilizing trade audit data.
- Demonstrated competencies in critical thinking, collaboration, influence, team leadership, customer focus, and achieving results in alignment with business goals.
- Ideal experience in brand activation/execution.
- Ability to collaborate well and work cross-functionally.
- Brand management experience.
- Trade marketing experience.
