About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Portfolio Management team as a Paralegal, supporting our national Real Estate group. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with junior fee-earners and senior lawyers to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

The role is extremely varied, with opportunities to work across the national Real Estate group, own your own files, and interact with clients. You will be responsible for preparing title and lease reports, legal forms, land registry and SDLT/LBTT, break notices, simple planning documents, lease and other L&T documentation drafting and negotiation, as well as general assistance to fee earners on a variety of client matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review legal documents, including title and lease reports, legal forms, and land registry documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of SDLT/LBTT and other tax-related documents.
  • Support the team in the negotiation and drafting of lease and other L&T documentation.
  • Provide general assistance to fee earners on a variety of client matters.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and third-party contacts.
Requirements
  • Excellent academics, including a 2.1 degree or better.
  • A genuine interest in the law and property.
  • Experience in Commercial Property is not essential but would be advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to produce work to a high standard.
  • Confident with an ability to build strong relationships with clients and third-party contacts at all levels.
  • Must be flexible, organised, and a self-motivated team player who is able to work within the team to achieve common goals.
  • Must be able to work under pressure to meet required deadlines.
