As a Customer Service Representative - Check Verification, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients. Your primary duties will include receiving incoming calls, handling an average of 40 calls daily, and accurately entering or verifying customer information in our proprietary system (LexisNexis). You will also conduct full check verification when the issuer/payee is a new customer, contact the issuer to verify check information before processing transactions, and identify problems or issues and propose solutions to management. Additionally, you will meet quality assurance requirements and other key performance metrics.

**Requirements**

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
  • One year of experience in customer service in a call center environment
  • Excellent phone etiquette and experience dealing with difficult customers
  • Positive attitude and analytical skills
  • Able to type 40 WPM
  • Check cashing or banking experience preferred
  • Flexible to work extended hours or weekends
